I don't get why the butthurt folk don't just not watch top gear if it annoys them so much instead of trying to ruin everyone else's fun.

I'd be surprised if they didn't know this already but its hard to justify, from a moral standpoint, not sacking someone whos punched another person at work. It is against the law after all lol. I'm sure they spent a hugeeeee amount of time trying to find ways of not sacking him.

It is surprising they did sack him though. On a list of unethical things the BBC have done.. protecting Jeremy Clarkson cause he punched a producer wouldn't be very high on that list.

I think the mexican bit was crazy over the line.

Punching is pretty common and it's probably not the whole story.
But he is not probably being sacked on this alone either and I dont think the bbc could do any different really could they?

BBC will no doubt lose quite a bit from losing the show.. its just harder to say "yeah hes allowed to punch his coworkers cause he earns more than the average person and hes on TV" about Clarkson than it is with footballers ect.

If there wasn't such a big fuss in the media he'd still be in a job. Suppose his past antics and general attitude didn't help things.
