you think most, if not all, our problems are due to foreseeing death? that maybe, if we organize our internal clock in a way that pays no attention to passing time and that (supposed) Final Deadline, our relations with each other would improve?
obviously inequality is outside our control, but im talking individually: how we constantly try to get to a different state of mind, feel powerful even if it means manipulation

It's like sand. When you're young you lay about and bask in it getting a tan or whatever. When you're older, it's some shit that's somehow managed to get trapped in your speedos and you try to surreptitiously get rid of it while you're swimming in the shallows but it never leaves entirely; gravel in your trunks.
Time is gravel in your swim trunks.

				try switching to a 6 day week. 28hrs a day. 14hrs on, 14hrs off.
You'll get more done, and your weekends will align.
Generally only works if you're self employed or work remotely (coder, for example)

Time is my biggest enemy. That and sleep. Even with optimising down to 6hrs a night, I'm still stuck with not enough hours to do everything.

If I'm working on my computer, laptop, or tablet, I'll have a browser session running in the background. Likewise if I'm travelling anywhere I'll have my smartphone with me if anything urgent comes up.

Schopenhauer wrote: Time and that perishability of all things existing in time that time itself brings about is simply the form under which the will to live, which as thing in itself is imperishable, reveals to itself the vanity of its striving. Time is that by virtue of which everything becomes nothingness in our hands and loses all real value.

It's funny that if we used 25 hours for a Nychthemeron/24 hour period (thanks magma) then summer time and months with inequal amount of days wouldnt go down. So it's probably dumb romans being bad at math....s
