This is cool but I'm not sure about the snare, sounds like a big 80s power ballad snare to me, needs something with more of a crack/snap to it I reckon

other than that this is cool though, kinda reminds me of older Distance tunes

Yeah sounds good, the vocal could be ethereal with deeper phasing and stuff (use a high minimum level). Snare sounds good, kick has a bit too much top to it imo, I love the shimmery cymbals though that's quite special. Bass/sub sounds a bit low, maybe cut some top end off and raise the level as a whole?

The vocal sounds too constant and in your face, try turning the output from that channel off and send it thorugh a delay/reverb etc

Here's something I done up real quick.

Played with the voice a bit made it a lil more atmosphere-ish, and added in a few different patterns and effect layers with phasers and changed eq

Uploaded the full thing cuz 2lazy to crop another teaser lmao

also added in a bit of a crescendo vocal layer, you might like that

Cleaned up the mix a lil bit, fixed some overlapping with the hats, cut down the kick a fair bit and tried to give it more of a low end. Pumped up the basslines as a whole, used a completely clean bassline and made the mid more gritty.

I also adjusted the snare to give it more of a curve and snappy sound.

Sick, nice tune up. I actually think the effects of the arp/key thing at around 2:26 should be swtiched with the choir
