The Shrimpernel plus Scratch_Eddie equals SHREDDIE, a duo of noise merchants that have been making a cacophony up North for the past 4 years.

Shreddie have crafted their own hi-octane, dancefloor-oriented approach to the Dubstep scene (referred to by those in the know as Clubstep; a gypsy stew of all things 140 BPM, such as Speed Garage, Breakstep, Grime, Dubstep and Techno) and have built up a reputation for performing dynamic, off-kilter electronic sets that blur the boundary between the 'DJ' and the 'Live Musician'.

Their recipe is simple; take a couple of laptops, a couple of turntables, some effects units and the odd 'real' instrument (such as a flute or guitar), throw them together with a shedload of horrible riddim and try not to vomit up your dinner as the walls and floor begin to wobble under some serious low-end pressure!
