Came across this earlier, but did not listen to it, untill now.

Very energetic, very well produced, it sounds like a crossover between electrohouse and dubstep. This one will definitely go off at a party. It reminds me of ´Coki - Spongebob´, it has a similar drive/energy to it.

I wonder what others think of this while it does not sound like the typical dubstep tunes released today (a good thing?). Ghislain Poirier - Blazin´(Modeselektor remix) sounds very refreshing in my opinion.

I say: "We keep it, we keep it, we keep it."

i really like Modeselektor, but im not feeling this at all, just sounds like a very bate rip-off of a few Skream productions

Sounds like modeselektor doing the dubstep "formula". Which still sounds good, but i love modeselektor and think they could do way better. Happy Birthday had some seriously dubsteppy tunes (usually a bit slower in tempo) which were genuinely experimental, this is a bit flat.

elgato, I'm interested to know what aspects of the tune you are referring to when you casually denounce it as "a very bate rip-off of a few Skream productions"? Have you heard it on a proper system?

I like it! Not seeing any electro house or Skream resemblance though, maybe it's just me.

nice tune. repeated vocal's a bit annoying though

The first breakdown is a bit Skream-like. More obvious are the high-hats from Mud.

Really?
The drums are fairly standard halfstep fare, but the synth line sounds just like Skream in my opinion. Especially the way it gets more square-wavey every repetition. I think square-wave anyway, my musical theory is nonexistant. It goes from wubby to more wabby, to put it in terms I'm actually sure about. Obviously Skream isn't the only person to use that, but he's got a few tunes around at the moment with a very similar structure. Chestboxing springs to mind, though there's newer unreleased ones that are closer.

So yeah, I'd pretty much agree with Elgato, wannabe Skream tune is what sprang to mind when I heard it.
That being said they played it when I saw them the other week and it was a lot of fun. That was mainly because it was something different though.

The drums sound exactly like welcome 2 the future... Poor ol skream - everyone's nicking that tune...

Song's nicely produced but I think it gets a tad irritating - especially that vocal.

i am feeling this one, they definitely have some other great beats as well and its always good to see those germans trying different things and doing some experimental business, they are welcome nonetheless.
their latest album still spin as always over here, really dig their stuff.

sounds like they definitely put their time in exploring dubstep sound since 'let your love grow' and 'hyper hyper'. nice beats.
