Does anybody (from Bmouth) know of any record stores selling dubstep, I've been buying from Chemical, Boomkat, HTFR, etc but would like a local store to have a dig in the crates. I asked one guy in a store a few months ago and he was like 'Dub what!?'

Im new to the forum but ive been loving dubstep for a couple of years now.

I'll be there on friday going mental! Im a bournmouth resident and its good to have some decent music around. Skream at the consortium was the last good thing.

I dont think there is any good record shops in bournmouth now. I've seen a few things in HMV but thats it.

since avid shut down i didnt know there were any record shops in bournemouth any more

if theres any dubstep in bournemouth between like the 13th dec and 7th of jan then i'll see you there! shame can't reach this friday

yes there is dubstep playin in bournemouth in next few weeks,

crash culture are doing couple of rooms on 14th and 24th december at OTT which is 30 avenue road (in town).

there is also hip hop/grime/dubstep mash up at firestation upstairs on 8th (this sat) in the engine room upstairs. its a new rave indy thing downstairs but if you can tear yourself away from that were rinse it out upstairs.

I remember as a snot nosed kid hanging around, collecting fliers as my dad thumbed through the drum and bass section in fat tracks, and also a record store under king bong if I remember rightly, if only I was older and as into music as I am now!

Yeah I was at Skream too, was a killer night!

Does anybody else in the area spin dubstep? I'm looking to play some records with people as none of my mates are vinyl orientated like myself.

Hopefully I'll get chatting to some of you on Friday.

I play dubstep, havent got a huge collection though due to not being rich

A couple of mates of mine run a few drum and bass nights in bmth. Riotlab @ the I-Bar and Asylum at The Empire Club. I've dj'd at Asylum when I was playing breaks but thats about it. I've been trying to get them to do a dubstep night for ages but nothing has happened. Im sure if we get together we can get something organised. Riotlab Vs Dubstep or something.

Yeah I'm having to buy records in drips and drabs, got a fair few now. I spin tunes as and when I can, would be cool to get a dubstep night on the regular somewhere.

If anybody knows somewhere we can get together and play some tunes give me a shout, my rooms tiny and plus I still live with the parents, its a dub friendly house but the neighbours aren't quite into the massive bass lines yet! lol.
