Nah. It's a bit of a toy considering what it's supposed to be. Nothing like the original liquid channel. Plus, them impulse sampled a lot of hardware (including boutique companies who are making some interesting stuff) without bothering to pay a royalty to them. Bastards.

For channel comp and EQ there's always this:

Seems a bit overboard using it on something like Dubstep, though.

Oh, and the UAD plugins are incredible, too.

Arh.. One of my friends who are using it compared it to real beefy hardware units such as la2a and 1176 in a top range studio.. He had a hard time telling the BIG difference. Of course the hardware sounds really good, but for the money..
About the royalty bizz - hm.. dunno.. But i guess can see your point..
Thats why i use Live.. perfect plugs i tell you and no hassling with dodgy cracks and shit..

I dunno. For the money, UAD card every time. The LA 2A is a magical thing for vocals.

I've got both, but he hippo's 2 bus comp is pretty shit, to be honest.
