Tunes like Root/The Goat Stare?

I've been into dubstep properly for what's getting on for a few years, and one of my first vinyl purchases was this. It's still a favourite of mine, its virtue being the simplicity of beats and bass (particularly the beats in Root and the bass in The Goat Stare).

I find it hard to regularly come by stuff this simple, but which delivers an equally potent bass weight and drum combination. Can you recommend some I might be interested in please? (For instance there's the techno-influenced sounds of the likes of Peverelist, which I like, but his beats tend to be more minimal than what I'm getting at here). So, I guess I'm not saying 'list copycat tunes of the Loefah 12', but list tunes that have that beat and bass essence.

Try the Fracture and Qualifide stuff on Compound One.
Get Loose and The Phone Call are pure beats and bass business.
And Pinch's album instrumentals are heavy.

Ever since I've gotten into dubstep I've wondered if I'd ever find a 12 that has as much atmosphere and weight as Root/Goat Stare. So far, I haven't found it.

Beats and bass... look into the Cyrus and Distance albums. They're good in their own ways, but still, I don't think anything will top that Loefah 12...

Would say that Darqwan - Maximum Reespek/Ghost Not Memory is in a similar vein.

Again tho, not as good as Goatstare.

does loe make tunes like this anymore? for me these two have quite a distinctive sound which i prefer to a lot of the stuff he's released subsequently.

what about 28g/fearless by loefah and skream. pretty weighty stripped down beats, dunno if youve got a chance of finding it anymore though

There isnt anything like Root imo.

Demi-jungle vibes I still drop to this day.

unreleased stuff with similair vibes:

Scaramanga and Ghozt: Done a good 5 or so tracks with that really stripped down bass, groove and atmosphere style.. top notch

Hindzy D: His new Dubstep material is spot on.. look out for more from him next year

also look out for more Kion on this tip next year hopefully

we're gonna be pushing the real raw sound next year (altho with a new twist, wait and see)
