Vocal Dubstep Tunes?

Post by carlybag » Mon Dec 17, 2007 5:05 pm

Hi there,

I'm really bad at remembering names to tunes, which makes it really hard when it comes round to buying them

Can someone point me in the direction of some nice and meaty vocal dubstep please?

here's a 320 of a vocal tune by a Jazz/HipHop band called J-Treole that I remixed, glitched up and layerd the vocals bare. think it sounds propper different:

DivShare File - Shnyde - J Treole Remix.mp3

leave us some feedback onhttp://www.myspace.com/djshnyde or this thread http://dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=34913 if ya likes :D

Merry Christmas!

I really dig this tune, I'm still toting it around and playing it whenever possible. there's some loose similarities to that tune "who's that girl" sampling the eurythmics /annie lennox by Dj Garna, which by the way should be included in this list of tunes with vocals, I'm not sure it that samples and vocal snippets necessarily constitutes them as "vocal dubstep". but then again I'm probably just over analyzing the whole thing. Typical me.

mate, if your looking for some solid vocals on a well built bassline, you should check out a few release by Darkstar. Can't remember that names
now, can I? but im saying he's got some sweet releases with vocals on'em.
