maybe its a little queer, but i have been a big fan of dreaming, whether it be in the day or during the night. Maybe this is more of a subject for the females, but i guess you have to cater for all.

Post the dream you remember having. Maybe we can get into a little discussion and break down what ever it is ment.

i Can't remember the dream i had this morning, but of late i have been getting alot of closure in the dreams i have had, when i have woken up the last thing usually to take place is some acknowledgment of achievement...

though before i would always awake when i asked a question, never getting the answer.

I had a dream about two ex-mates who last time I saw them wanted to kill me, and we were having a few beers and saying how silly the falling out was. So I expect to be hospitalized within the next few days now.

must be nice to wake up to, grand. :)

my dreams as of late have been a little weird, mostly kinda dark. I think it has to do with the stress of knowing im going to visit my family in about a week. thats always lovely... They'll ask me how my life is going. why i dont make money off the music i make. why the only thing i want for christmas is cash...

i'll have some explaining to do. :?

They can be, seriously... i have had some dreams where i have asked a question that is truly is meaningful only to have my alarm clock bring me back to reality.

What is it about dreams, and things in the real world interacting at key moments like that. I am a prolific dreamer.. happens all the time. Makes the dreams where i do get some closure truly inspiring.. makes me think whats good in my life at this moment in time.

i've been getting mad dream coincidences lately...been giving the lucid thing a go too.
i cant remember exactly how a dream i had today went but i think it involved me and a girl who just told me she was pregnant or something...we were in some massive ruin of a buidling too...

i also went to a dreams and sleeping exhiibiton today in london so this little thread is a nice little addition to my 'dream' related coincidences.

for those interested and around the london area check it:

dude, you're lucky. most people either dont remember their dreams, or dont care. I too, believe they are important. Not necessarily are they magical experiences where you leave your body or whatever (though,i have, on multiple occasions, without drugs) but in the very least psychodramas played out in your mind that allow you to come to terms with circumstances in your life. they're all good, and i highly recommend dreaming. :D

check out the movie "waking life" i own it. its great if you're into dreams.

fucking true that! the more i meditate, the more i'd rather be over there. the trick is finding a balance.

I felt that years ago when I was doing shrooms every weekend, seemed to make far more sense than the world I was leaving.

Probably best not to do as many as I did though - 400 liberty caps at a time is a wee bit silly.

im the same...im not sure if there ever can be a balance...or at least if its possible to feel satisfied with the balance with dualism etc

cant have good without bad , light without dark etc.

mediate on imperfection. avoid too much sensory bullshit and focus on whatever that thing inside your mind is.

try to lucid dream too...i figure if im ever gonna get the answers to the questions i dont know how to ask, it will be through that way.

shrooms are crazy but with enough focus your mind can tune into the areas of the mind they unlock...all aboard the hippy bus.

if you were as spiritual and enlightened as i am, you'd understand. This of course, is why dolphins are the only beings that are fit to be my lovers. I will be travelling to vega with my pod in the near future. once i charge these quartz crystals with jesus-energy, that is.

Some kind of post-apocolyptic danger at every turn shit...the usual. Apart from the world coming to an end there is usually someone chasing me/ trying to kill me. The sky is always red in these dreams, which is strange becase you aren't supposed to dream in color apparently. so yeah I was pretty much experiencing this right until I woke up. But I don't read too deep into it, most likeley just my imagination manifesting itself.

Yeah, the dreams I remember either scare the shit out of me, or I wake up and have to change boxers, because I haven't *released* myself lately. Yeah, but this morning was different. I woke up with my head in a puddle of drool, and what look like badass Maori tattoos on my arm because it had been tangled up in the sheets. Dammit, I need cooler dreams.

EDIT: Actually I did have a dream, and it was so unrealistic I just thought it was real. I finally got some decks, and all that stuff, and I became a junglist DJ in the grassy area of my school... I'm not sure what I played, it was like floppy plastic rather than vinyl. (same stuff they make plastic bags out of I think.) Yeah... It's better when I don't dream.

same shit all the time, zombies chasing me, sometimes in an apocalyptic beachfront setting, sometimes in a war zone. Often, friends, relatives or old girlfriends will be with me, sometimes I am alone.

oh yeah, there are often snakes, or evil demon dogs / cats in the mix as well

I hate dreaming, the zombies almost always ruin my night

the wellcome institute is great. they've got loads of really interesting research papers to download on their website too...

i don't dream too often and when i do i can't usually remember them. they're always normal everyday life kinda things tho... conversations with people i know and the like... haven't had a nightmare since i was tiny
