The meter? Do you mean slices? Little thin strips going down your sample at each beat? If so then just move them by left clicking at the top of the strip and moving it left or right.

If you mean playback doesn't sound right, like it kinda almost stops and starts at each slice indicator then you need to play with the time sig and/or tempo settings more.

nah sorry, i mean like for instance if i take a break and speed it up export and put it into cubase and set the tempo it obviously plays back at the right speed but for example the sanre might not be bang intime, i know you can warp the sample in cubase and move them in time but if its extremely off you get that time stretched sound, so basically is there a way of moving the induvidual slices (not the markers that determin the slices) in recycle so that the break or whatever audio is properly tight before you export it.

its all well and good cuttin up audio so simply in recycle but if its not in time whats the point?

hope thats clearer im fucken useless at explainin things

load the slices into a sampler or a dr. rex in reason, and then play the slices via midi.

in cubase if you click on the region you've created w/ recycle, it should open up in a multi-lane sample editor so that you can move the slices around.

it's really ugly.

much easier to do it via midi and a sampler.
