Love or Loathe?
I Wouldn't say that I completely don't like it but certainly at points I would like to use the 'off switch'
I know it's different in club like.
Anyone recommend me some good sets to dl that may change my mind?

Like anything there's always going to be some poor quality ones - on the whole they work best on really hype sets, not so well on the deeper stuff... dunno about downloadable sets but I always love to see Virus Syndicate or Slaughter Mob MCs get on the mic.

i think that it just sux when an mc thinks the show is all about them.. they forget that people are most likely there to see and hear the dj. mcs are meant for "sprankles," as we call it in the south.

Much prefer without, find it intrusive of my main love of dubstep (if that makes sense) i think the Loefa & JME & Jammer - JME's B-Day Bash @ FWD 040507 is prime example, not because i didn't enjoy the MC's just the tunes where all brilliant and just wanted to hear the instrumentals (because i didn't own any of them/heard em for the first time)
http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=19905 it has some good moments and some questionable moments on it, but hey, it was a party. i think JME is still good though.
only time i've thought, yes that was awesome MC-wise (but it's not live)...was a track in this mix > 33:02 mins into it
http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.p ... 0c478ecb45 but the mix is no longer online

though i have it on my 'puter'
if anybody has the name of the track in the latter mix i'm referring to, would be much appreciated. i would re-upload these mixes but i don't have much time today.
oh and hello i'm new on here, have been a lurker.

as in something that you add a little here and a pinch here but far from the main ingredient.

isn't grime just vocal dubstep anyway?
"splurt" skream remix is dope
same goes to some of the virus syndicate tunes as well.
dnb mc's are the worst of the lot, especially all the stateside skibadee clones faking the british accent.

the WORST part about MCs is all the people online who complain about them.

It's not "woo woo woo" it's clearly "woah woah woah" and it's basically the greatest sound ever uttered from a person's voicebox in the history of forever.

I suggest using the FUCKING search button!!!!!!!
It has a little magnifying glass icon with, wait, the word SEARCH right next to it.
Far too many threads about this.
However , since you've drawn me in.
I'm quite fond of mc's and rewinds
Come on Mr.Boomnoise, how about a little lockle to brighten up the Holidays!!!
