"Controled Chaos"
On saturday the 13th of may 2006, the Docklandshall on the NDSM docks in Amsterdam, will host a crossing between Do It Yourself and Free-Party culture. Zetemka Soundsystem presents a festival packed with creative input and alternative entertainment.
The day starts at 14:00 with a live graffiti show by various (international) writers. There are indoor activities: a (2nd hand) recordfair, a marketplace with selfmade items and a terras with a restaurant. The afternoon and evening will be filled with performances by various bands, hip hop crews and multiple streettheatre acts. There is also an exposition of 2d/3d art and audiovisual installations. Other forms of leisure will be provided with a sumo fight arena, a mobile skate park and a movie area, displaying various short films and animations. When the night falls 4 dance area's will start their line-up: Zetemka, WirWar, Industrial Funk [24KW basspipe], and 104e20 (Lille FR). With their DJ's and Live-Sets, these area's will represent virtually all styles of underground dance. The party will explode supported by a stimulating visual background provided by various artists and vj's.
Project Mayhem is an independant initiative, that runs on the efforts of (international) volunteers to provide an event that is easy-accessible and free of artistic limitations.
