Old 2-step bootleg questions

Delving back a bit here... does anyone know who Allstars were that did this Redman & Method Man / Blackstreet booty http://www.discogs.com/release/250718 ? It's an old favourite and I just wondered if the producers went by a better-known name....

Also - and this is hazy in my memory - but does anyone remember another 12" around then (1999/2000) that had the "I like to smoke marijuana / it give mi a deep meditiation?" vocal sample in? Only remember seeing it on white label, got a vague feeling it could've been Steve Gurley, or maybe Sticky?

Steve Gurley and Chris Mack set up the Allstars* label as a chance to release joint productions and bootlegs

The Allstars release is either by Steve Gurley or Chris Mac.

"I like to smoke.." was featured in a lot of ukg tunes around that time. Is that a 2step or a 4x4 tune?

Duncan Powell is very very deep, i only found out about him recently also, SICK tunes. some proper fucked riddims, plus some ridiculous soul on some of them. have a look at his remix of MJ Cole - Watertight. and all those mad cut up rnb ones, broken souls

Undoubtedly top drawer, yes, but better than Groove Chronicles? Better than Dem2? Personally I find it difficult to choose any of these three over the others, but for me, it's Dem 2 - simply the most perfect, most transcendental, deep, firin' music ever.

BTW, people might like this 4x4 old skool garage mix: http://www.grievousangel.net/GA-mp3s/4x4heaven.mp3. Soon come is a blogariddims from me which is 100% heavyweight 2step.
