First attempt what do you think?

hello

been messing about with my first loop, have a listen if you have aminute and let me know if im on the right route..not that there is one of course..

if the answer is yes, then yr "on the right route"


but if yr asking if u've managed to produce "dubstep", like the millions of other dubstep tunes out there, then no, not really.

but thats almost certainly a good thing

sounds sumwhere between techno and dubstep...maybe make THAT yr sound rather than trying to be dubstep

im from that side of the spectrum so i guess those styles will always show in what i make

Yeh I read your profile. We have simular tastes in music, I love kraftwerk;)

To me your loop sounded like Dubstep btw. Check mine if you got a moment.

cheers mate, no sub, bass on it yet . At a time when i feel my own genre of music has become a tad saturated(Minimal/Techno), i have been given a whole new lease of inspiration with d step,

Dustep is totally new to me and tbh i wish i had come accross it years agowhen i was into 4x4

do you have the sub bass pack i gave you? it is instrument 1 in our song file. It has sub bass all the sub sines you need.

a good idea would be to copy this into a blank song, and save that as the default. Then everytime you load Renoise, your subs will be there waiting for you!

Dont have any sub packs mate, i use logic not renoise, i normaly use exs sines for subs or moog voyager but would like to have a gander at what u are talking about...where can i get it
