easy all,
im writing an article about dubstep in 2008 and whether it has the opportunity to crossover to the mainstream - what with the successes of people like burial and benga getting plays on radio 1 and shitney spears using a bit of wobble on her recent masterpiece. I know there are a lot of discussions all over this board on this sort of thing but being brand new to the forum it would be good to get some direct feedback. Any thoughts on the state of the scene would be of much help!

So where do you wanna see dubstep heading this year, and where can you see it going? Is there too much media hype? Who are most likely to crossover and who are the producers to look out for this year? you get the picture....

cheers

Tsk I don't know why I'm helping out the competition but: Amy Winehouse, Klaxons, Black Ghosts, Thom Yorke and Bloc Party getting dubstep remixes are THE key point of crossover to the mainstream. Next step'll be when you hear a Benga or Skream track on football highlights :P
