I don't think there's still nothing to be called a scene, more like a few soldiers scattered around the peninsula tryin to push the sound locally.
Definately the bigger heat is in Barcelona with Numaestro, Moonshine & Subsound doing events regularly. If you're looking for promoters your best bet would be either them, Chelis in Zaragoza, or the Madrid Massive crew in Madrid, they're the only people promoting events seriously, I think.
And then there's us, isolated on the northwest

I was working out in Santiago (NorthW), possibly the worst music in the world.
There is NO scene but the Spanish euro-shite scene.
I wanted to do something there but spent too much time er sleeping around.

the scene in Costa del sol, is very hard-mainstream stuff.
Robphobos, if you want some scene you have to dig a lot or do it yourself hehehe.
Probably we made some party while you were in Santiago was a shame don't know that you were there, david and me live near!

hy there, im argentinian living in bcn...
the scene here to me its litle but its mooving on,
what realy works here is breakcore and drum and bass in rave partys(or minimaltech in discotecs). so now many people who was buying breakcore/minimal is starting to watch dubstep with good eyes.
there are two nice stores wich are bringin nice material , but obiusly its hard to find stuff wich is out of stock for you guys (benga and coki- nigth for example), and the fact that things get like one month later.
there is a little club to mention its called xpressing underground,in wich i played a month ago, it has dubsteo every wensday , plus sometimes we have the hybrid muzik party organized by some colegues..
olso there is iberian records people as a bcn based record label for dubstep, about producers there is olso migrant, cauto and trash van traxx
me im mixing and producing as well

yeah went to a breakcore/dubstep rave in a cave a bit outside of barcelona (club called la cova) this summer. fucking mental venue with a sick soundsystem. had filistine (played most of his set drumming a shopping trolley - amazingnehuenspace wrote:hy there, im argentinian living in bcn...

), distance, vex'd and numaestro on the day i went but there was a night the day before as well. metalboxproducts was playing a club somewhere in town too while i was theretazmaniac is a wicked record shop too
