How do you program your drums?

Do you use a midi keyboard to play the drum sounds with your fingers, do you use a mouse and the piano scroll to paint the drums in?
or some other method?

Since I don't have a MIDI controller.. I use the mouse and piano roll if I am doing anything special, like pitched snare rolls or loop edits.
I do alot of quantization as well.

I usually get the feel on the keyboard first, going through the various sounds mapped in Battery. Then i'll usually just pencil them in with the mouse.

I use my typing keyboard as a MIDI keyboard, so usually I just whack my dick on the keys till good sound comes.
