Is it class-compliant? Did it come with drivers? If it is, and it didn't, it probably just shows up as 'USB Audio Device' or something generic.

My MPD24 and Keystation behave the same way. It's there, you just gotta find it.

apreciate the help but i know what latency IS
i just want to find out how to reduce it in cubase LE
its defo not my sound card coz i built this computer 2 months ago!
it might be the keyboard. my keyboard is the Evolution MK-461c
in my cubase4 tutorial vids it says latency can be controled in VST Audio system , but that tab isnt even there in LE. FUUUUUCCCKKKKK
thanks

OK
i sorted the majority of the latency by switching ASIO driver to Direct X
but it only recognises 24 keys and then the rest of the keyboard as the first 12 notes repeated in 12 key sections.
the keys dont sound wen you press them to the bottom, they play when the pass some centre point at the back of the key wich makes them imposible to play on properly, i think i was sold a faulty one from "Boomerang sounds" in manchester. and no chance of return or refund coz i bought it 3 fucking years ago.
NEVER EVER BUY from them or ever buy a evolution MK keyboard. they are SHIT.

I have an evolution MK and it works fine with Cubase - make sure you get the latest drivers from the website

is it normal for the note to play when the keys are half pushed down
its so unresponsive.
it sounds a note somwhere in the middle of it being pressed. ive tryed holding the key and moving it around to narow it down to the point it sends a signal from. its dogey!
