Dub Trio

Post by kani » Sun Feb 03, 2008 3:06 am

Anyone here keen on Dub Trio..
three guys out of Brooklyn that i happen to know,
what needs to be said.. signed to ROIR, collabo'd with Mike Patton for his Peeping Tom project and have him singing on one track on their last album..

if anyone gets a chance to catch them live.. that the definitive experience.
tighter sounding live than on their albums somehow.
but new one just released Jan 29th.. Another Sound is Dying..

sick and heavy with dub interludes.

Funny you should mention them. I heard that Patton song on the radio today - apparently the only one with vocals on their latest album.

Definitely ear catching stuff.

they've been on tour steady for the last year at least, first with Peeping Tom, then Helmet, then Gorgol Bordello, a few others, and now they're headlining.. its a little ridiculous.

they have vinyl out on ROIR as well..

This live clip looks really nice, I'm tempted. Just found out they will be in Netherlands while I'm there, seems like it's a chance that shouldn't be wasted.
