right now the FM8 by Native Instruments is killing it for me
its really fun modling those "tacky" FM sounds into fragile emotive chords and that arpegiator.. brilliant! so groovey!

Because it's deep and complicated and I feel like a mad scientist using it.
Because it's not deep and I feel like a cheesy Trance kiddy using it.

Got into it for a while, but I thought it would be at its coolest with the hardware mini-MS20 it comes with. Then I discovered it doesn't come with that any more. Then it expired. Thumbs down.

Fender Rhodes VSTi, does other electric pianos like the Wurlitzer pretty good as well. Nice because it's an actual physical model, not just multisamples like most other EP sims.

Because I'm too lazy to learn how to use anything else (and because none of the factory patches really do it any justice...)

No sine wave LFO on Subtractor?? Then why is it the synth of choice for the Reason wobble-heads?

I would have thought so, it's what I've used. I guess the triangle would do.
*prays this doesn't become another wobble thread*

yea don't want to go too far.... just that the triangle is always kind of out of time. I usually use the sawtooth variations which decay in time when synced.
