Having mashed up Shoreditch last month with Nicolette, Ari Up, DJ Flight and Mary Anne Hobbs, BASH returns with another mouthwatering line up The Bug throws down the gauntlet to London's finest Dub Poets for some serious word sound power. Altered Vibes recording artist Roger Robinson, Kode 9 collaborator Space Ape and 'Poetry Kitchen' head honcho Malika will be steppin up to the mic with words of rootical wisdom(With additional surprise guests in the house). Meanwhile Big Dada label artist/Roots Manuva Remixer and pioneer of "disposable graffiti" Part 2, takes time out to promote his forthcoming New Flesh album 'Universally Dirty', by throwing down some bass heavy waist grinders. Props to the Bash gang. Best night of its kind in london and beyond.

Talk about exciting! Look at the line up!

Large up yourself John! Get down there early for an unashamedly awesome selection.

Sorry about the hype talk but it's all from the heart, trust.

Roger Robinson's the man. Saw him live with Techno Animal. At least I think it was him. It was dark. And a long time ago.

Looking at those words makes me feel very slightly sick in my stomach due to not living in London!

The Bug, Loefah, Part2, Robinson, SpaceApe in one night is just ridiculous.

Bash is ridiculous.

It's definitely worth reaching early to hear John Eden's set. His reggae collection is legendary so he'll be spinning some top tunes. We've done loads of DJ mixes together and a couple of radio shows, but he's still got loads of riddims he hasn't used yet.

so you think spaceape is bad over kode9 sets?? spaceape at bash was something else entirely. proper tings. loefah's set was the best I've seen him do down there, and the bug was wikid - not quite as ear-splitting as he's been before and far more texture to his choice of tunes/working with the range of MCs. pls post name for the lil girl dub poet if you know - she was bad...
