these tracks are good, they are quite grimey, sum high sounds/melodies wud be good for these tracks.

Yeah these are both heavy!
Drums are cool and chunky.

Agree with Krave tho, they lack melodics and high end bits.
Basically they are good beats and bass, but they lack a hook.

Even just adding some pads would help. Something to fill in that high end.

Definitley like them so far, though.

basic sounds in those tracks are very poor, but ideas seam to be interesting

comments for both: add a little depth - reverb, delay, etc. everything sounds really dry and up front. and to reiterate, a melody would be nice. what you've got is great - nice variation, good build, stereo and movement, but it's just not full. and maybe some different sounds - the snare in rides, for example, sounds like every other snare sample. try a sample that's something completely different.

very solid riddim tracks. nice chunky sounds ...
i really like the noises inbetween the beats on moody.
both are pretty mono-phonic, there could be some counter-rythmic parts going on, some hats or hand drums.
but just adding some pads, like atomly suggested, and some ecohes would deepen these no end.
