Evol Intent - Era of Division

I really fancy this album, it varies a lot (all kinds of dnb, some hiphop influenced stuff, some stuff that reminds me of aphex twin and a dubstep track on the top) and really is in my opinion well made. Evol Intent really hit the bulls eye with this one.

Big up.

Evol Intent is definietly the best thing to emerge from United States DNB. they are one of the most imitated acts of our time, which is a shame, because the imitators have really fucked up a lot of the DNB that's coming out.

much respect to them, as musicians, engineers and producers.

this album seems to be pretty diverse, not just sticking to dancefloor-ish DNB, transcending boundaries like musicians should.

i haven't heard the album, but have faith as they have made some absolute killers in the past few years

I wouldn't ever go as far as to say that...Great producers for sure, and not just in DnB,

DSL is good, so are Evol Intent, but theres so many good underrated producers and djs from the states in dnb... Infiltrata aka 12th Planet, Juju, Craze, Hive, Gridlok, actually the whole Violence and P51 fams...

Finally heard this album, there is some goodies on it for sure! Not feeling the dubstep tune tbh, I think he may have made it a while back though, it sounds a little dated to me... its good, just too halfsteppy - he shoulda went glitchier with it imo... the glitch-hop stuff and the dnb is dope though, picked a few of those up off beatport...

no doubt. alot of u.s talent out there. dsl helped with the exposure of many of names.
hochi and infiltrata make some dope shit. one of my favourite tunes on wax has gotta be sidewinder remix with a teebee track on the flip side.

dj craze is something else also--cant beat the turntabilism style. saw him at fabric a while back--was uterrly disappointed. pilled up expecting a decent set and he starts blasting out tons of homophobe. house :/

as far as darkside goes, Lifted music are running things right now. limewax and current value are on another level though.

but yeah back on topic- decent varied album. those guys have so many projects on the go. another one to look out for is e.i's knick and ewun's 'minus music'

I'm feeling this album. I'm not just not fond of the vocal sample of the song Middle Of The Night. It sounds like it belongs in a Happy Hardcore dance anthem or something. Not that theres anything wrong with that. i just don't like mixing my d'n'b and dubstep with happy hardcore.
