DMZ AFTERMATH...

Post by garcia » Sun Mar 02, 2008 4:34 am

Just got home, 4.30, about to go to bed, working at 9. nice.

Havin' it night. Happy Birthday DMZ crew! smashed it as per usual.

For me it was all about Goth Trad & Distance. Goth Trad's third pull up straight into Jah War was pinnacle moment, Joe Nice's face of utter disbelief was a picture.

Digital Mystikz' last tune - pure damage.

Big up all DJs, organisers, ravers.

That was fun!

Stupendous night.

The highlight was Goth Trad & Distance, absolutely destroyed the place. Digi Mystikz vs. Loefah was A LOT as well.

Head hurts, feet hurt, bedtime.

top night, gutted to leave at 2am, but had a 1 1/2 hr drive home a few hours sleep then up with kids for mothers day for the wife........

LD and Quest smacked it big time IMO, awesome mixing , flow and consistency of tunes.......all other dj's were good too...youngsta's mixing and tunes 8) (but his style seemed a bit at odd's to D1 IMO....pinch and cyrus seemed to get an extended set..... damn right too (well deep ) as i dont know why , when theres a massive q outside (almost a circle round the green), it takes an hour to get in ( i was at the entrance to babalou when doors opened).......got in at 10 to find a fairly quiet venue listening to pinch and cyrus...great vibe and atmosphere.... gutted to miss the other sets :(

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DMZ!! :5: :5: :5:
What a huge night. Being just out of hospital and attending with the decided plan of leaving after an one hour well behaved SIT IN, i think i did a good job havin well bruised dancin feet now. My jaw didn't break and i am 100 % sure that Quest kicked of my recovery process in the one and only very best way - your time - big time ALL u boys! Since it got to crowded to guarantee the ladies safety upstairs i loved each and every DJ down stairs! :n: :n: :n: :n:
i am soo glad that we went and that i got back HOME in time for that birthday bass bash and that my lover let me stay so long (4.30 i think) :) big up my Kid Cazual still sleeping like a baby! I enjoyed every second of the night and it was lovely to see everybody again. For me its the actual start of 2008 after missing all the planed but not attended fun in Jan and Feb. The 3rd birthday was an extra hyper large large night. thank you. now i am veeeery hungry .... :h:

no no no , kidcazual was sleeping like a REAL man , he does not sleep like a baby ,

BIG night QUEST again my uncle ,you bring it to the floor , as my lady is a rasberry ripple , we wandered off downstairs and was greeted with some top roots and culture , followed by the mighty plastician , get a new belt son , ya trousers were falling down all the time , one man thanks mate , my lady is now infatuated with you , bringing some heavy mixes .

highlights were meeting at the effra , big up the markleoid , it was a barrage of heads , Mala dropping anti war dub , and the filth of goth trad and distance , stinky burgers with willl blaze , and the hero of the night , has got to be out to my buddy bert , how u kept all that alcohol down without doing ya usual trick of pavement pebbledashing i dont know , man u was lurking outside the ladies toilets planning to steal all the lollys

jimbo , in the house been time fella , and misery what the fack happened to you mate ??????????

bless dmz , fer the night bringing everyone back to the fold

Ow, my head! Sick night, loved the tunes, the extra sound, the ease of getting in, the many travellers, the lack of beef, and most importantly the DMZ vibes! Perfect.

Looking forward to having a pint tonight and playing some tunes, and breakfast right now.
