Recommendations for newbie

OK guys, so I've got the following peoples albums -
SKREAM
Fabric - Cappo and Rusko
Burial
Bassclef
and I love it all, but I need more recommendations!
If you've got any ideas let me know!

for sure you need to check out distance's my demons and I'd personally add Vex'd - Degenerate LP to the list as well.

I would listen into the various radio stations such as Rinse, Sub fm, React etc including Mary Ann Hobbs Radio 1 Show
To get your dosage of upfront news and tunes on the dubstep scene.
Id reccomend the " The Root Of Dubstep " Compilation from TEMPA as a starting point

I'm spent. That's enough dubstep for anyone.....

Sure get those albums - especially The Roots Of Dubstep - but you'll only get what you're after if you download mixes or go and see people play. Spend some time checking out mixes on Rinse, Barefiles, Get Darker or just locking onto Streamizm, React, Sub or Rinse. Sure, dubstep can be about albums, but to me it's also about the crazy magic of the mix and the liveness of radio or the dance. Enjoy the search...

like someone other already said, glue yourself to radios like
www.subfm.com or
www.dubstep.fm, I assure you wont be able to disconnect from the stream!!!

I'd say Pinch - Underwater Dancehall, Kode 9 & Spaceape - Memories of the Future and Skull Disco - Soundboy Punishments.

Oh my gosh yes, forgot about that.
Okay, normally what works for one person may not work for another and tastes differ and all that. But owning a copy of this compilation should be MANDATORY for anyone getting into dubstep. If you know your history and all that stuff...

As someone already mentioned you want to experience the culture by going to dubstep gigs, listening into radio show and mixes. Its only then you will realise the styles and tastes that you are into.
This forum is a great portal about all things dubstep too!

hi i'm also very new(and keen!) to the music of dubstep. nice suggestions on here which i will look into.
i've only got Benga's new album and a cd a picked up at the same time on the cheap called"ten tons heavy"-which was really good.
anyone know of any good links? or places to listen to stuff on livestream?
