I enjoyed it but i think the venue was bugging me a bit. Its good for djs but not so great for the crowd imo.

It was a good night, seemed like there was a lot of tourists there though,
didn't have the same raw underground feel as other nights.
I heard the geezer who put it on eint even been to a dubstep night in leicester before, which for me ruins it ..Money making me thinks.

I get the point you're trying to make, but when it comes down to it, so what?
Everyone into dubstep got into it once. What's wrong with people coming along who are curious and may not otherwise be interested in listening to dubstep? If even one of those enjoys it and develops an interest in the music, that's a good thing. Sure, a room full of "heads" creates a top atmosphere, but to deny newcomers the right to come along is underground elitism which music can do without.

I agree, its good for new people to come along and experience a new vibe, i eint dissing that, however, I think promotors who have no passion for the music, cashing in on it is sad.

Is that even correct though? This was Exodus right? They've been doing events in Leeds for time!

Thats what I heard bout the Leicester promoter, not the exodus crew.

Exodus last friday was one of the best Dubstep nights i've been to in these parts. and i caught a dub police t-shirt which made my evening.
Kontakt the other week was surprisingly good also (With The Others) i say surprisingly as i had doubts about the venue but the sound system Kontakt uses makes all the difference.
so basically all dubstep event's in leicester are good. and it's Benga this thursday..which i can't go to
