ASC's minimal/dub techno/ambient Mindspan project has received rave reviews when the tracks were first debuted on Virb, and on Mary Anne Hobbs' BBC Radio 1 show last year. This is the culmination of his work during that time. The vibes range from soothing drones, to manipulated industrial soundscapes set over sporadic and experimental backdrops. This is ASC as you've never heard him before, and yet again underlines the depths of his production talent.

From the opening blissed out ambience of Helion Prime, to the dark sci-fi feel of Aleph, and right through the misty spatial depths of Nova Ocean, this LP covers a lot of bases. You can hear the thought and precision in the craft that has gone into this LP, and you'll be sure to pick out little nuances on every listen. If you're a fan of deep music in general, then there's no doubt you are going to love this.

Once the CD's have gone, yes. It will be cheaper to buy the CD btw, AND you have something physical for your money! 8)
