i'm currently circuitbending a concertmate-600. it has too many sick glitches to wire to knobs/switches, so i've decided i'm going to wire them all to a giant board of about 50 body contacts. hopefully the end result will be a gnarly keyboard that screams as you massage it. there are no audio samples, and i guess it's not too photogenic at the moment, but i'll be sure to put it up once all is said and done.

i just fixed an effects processor with a shot power adapter input by wiring a 9volt adapter to a severed phone power cord. that little red starburst wrapper is the only thing between me and an electrical fire.

there's also a garden in my closet with chili peppers, red peppers, spearment, those crunchy snow pea joints, and a few other plants i'm somewhat hesitant to photograph.

Haha! Sweet.
You rule.
Yeah, I got a few things in my room that help me out. Generally, sticking the mic out my window is good. My girls speak into the mic too, and that give me stuff which you lot will never ever have!
So, basically, my mic.
Ha.
Seriously, if you don't have a mic, fucking well get one. An Sm57 is only going to cost you a night in the pub, and it will allow you to make some serious recordings, and of course record all the skanks you pick up in the street!
It is only a stock budget mic, to be fair, but it is cool for me and is well good enough for adding the real edge to your sound. And that is what we need; more real sounds amongst all the programmed shit!

wanna pick up something from Paia http://www.paia.com/p9700s.asp like this. But I have to get my soldering tools to do it. Always wanted to build a synth like this.

tl;dr it's a giant pad of typically 64 freely assignable buttons. sicker than all hell.. don't pass up the video, it's gold from the start.

she isn't rack mountable, but she makes nice noises.
