I had excellent experience with Denon DNS 5000's
I know the DNS 3000's have the same features and cost a less...
Industry standard does seem to be the pioneers. Essentially, the pioneers are sturdy, will take a bashing (and a spilt pint) and are most likely decks to be found in a club booth.
Denons have more built in gizmo-wizadry though!

I have a Denon DNS3000 I think. I don't really use it as am vinyl only these days really. Still, it is a great CD deck. It has the ability to play 2 tracks from the same CD so you can mix 2 CD tracks from 2 spearate channels once you are competent with the deck which is an excellent feature and one reason why I have only ever had one CD deck- back in the day I did a lot of parties using this as well, where I had to rely heavily on CDs for old tracks and classics which I didnt have on vinyl and when I was building up my collection. IMO, it is a great little accompanying ting for vinyl decks, and a sight cheaper and more loaded than pioneer (has in built sampler and loop and a fair few effects as well- plus unlike pioneers, the platter actually spinsfutures_untold wrote:I had excellent experience with Denon DNS 5000's

for gods sake do not get the cdj 800s, if youre thinking of getting them, save up the extra money and get the 1000s.
budget options are the 400's, the 200's, and numark axis 9's. all good in their own ways. i wouldn't venture outside these choices personally
