Haha, pretty entertaining find. People do check things, but sometimes after many hours of staring at the screen you just don't see it anymore

If it wasn't for omnipresent manipulation though, things like that wouldn't happen!

must be, only a couple of absurd ones in there to spot most of the others you'd have to spend more time looking at the pictures than they command.

i was just working on a composite of six shots of a tree. lucky i quadruple-checked before uploading: spotted one tiny error, zoomed in and saw that everything was utterly ruined in a hojillion places. discontinuities everywhere. start over again kinda ting. :\

Although, to be completely honest, it's not only about photoshop era. Like what the hell is going on with her back and the leg?

Yeah, but it still doesn't continue properly, just check how the knee and the calf go - angles don't match. And they display it in Louvre ffs

there's a much better one of these photo disaster type blogs on the adobe site, but you have to have a registered product and login to the site, so i can't link you guys.
i work in ps all day, and i enjoy seeing companies get busted for bad photoshoppin. one of the most famous of these was national geo.

"Nat Geo” cover page controversy [1982] ... When it ran a computer-altered photo of the Pyramids at Giza on its cover page … They wanted to put a picture of camels in the foreground and pyramids in the background ... But the picture could not be cropped so that both the camels and the pyramids would fit the cover-page ... The staff solved the problem by using a photo-imaging computer to move the pyramid."
the s hit the fan over it, and egyptian newspapers pointed out by recreating the picture themselves that it was impossible to have both pyramids with the sun setting behind them in one shot. national geo fired most of it's senior staff over the debacle, and it's image was tarnished as the pinacle of respectable photo journalism.

That reminded me of one of the winners of Polish Grand Press Photo. After photographies were published, people have quickly spotted Photoshop involved - the guy didn't even bother to alter the birds' look, just copied them straight away for better composition/effect. It got him fired from the paper he was working for!
