..went from reading up on malt loaves (17 pages warrants at least that), which led me to a page on cheese, then onto one on curd and coagulation, before reaching and reading up on sandwiches (and the history of, including John Montagu the 4th Earl of Sandwich after whom the food is named!), followed by various subjects ranging from 7-Eleven to different kinds of cheese, eventually landing back on sandwiches and the Philly Cheesestake AND...
this AMAZING sign!

today on wikipedia i checked this out:

some serious pioneering work that is basically sampling before the sampler... u need to hear this album to believe it... i still can't get my head round the fact it was made in 1969!!!!

I was reading up on my local history yesterday...
I spent a lovely afternoon chatting to me dad in Blenheim Palace once... There is a massive lake within the palace grounds... What I didn't realise is that the lake is connected to the Thames.. This is of interest to me only because I walk up the Thames towpath every day...

Here come the fleas is well up on the oddness list. A mate of mine was into this lot years ago and said that they planned to do one gig and then kill themselves on stage - seeing as it's mostly composed of Radiophonic Workshop neeks (albeit talented ones), does seem rather too rock'n'roll to be believable
