Hey welcome to the forum!

Tune shows promise but needs more development in the structure as its a little repetitive so try a breakdown, maybe introduce alternative bass lines compared to changing LFO or something. Also maybe add some reverb to the synth part to give a wider stereo image. Not bad for a first attempt though :)

Reason is a perfectly good program, its just a point of learning the synths and stuff, just keep at it. On Mac Logic is a brilliant program as all the included instruments are excellent , but on PC i would stick with reason as Cubase requires allot of extra plug ins to get what you already have with reason. Also look out for Ableton Live, a very flexibly program and the built in instruments are pretty good as well

there is lots of threads about this(search button)

reasons strength is it biggest weakness, its all in one, it forces you to learn what is provided, which could be postive or negative depending on how you see it..

just download all the demos you can and see which you find most confortable...essentially they all do the same thing, its how you use it and how comfortable you are with it..im doing this atm, i have every piece of software you can think of on my pc, but sticking really with renoise, buzz, and fl studio.

if i was you id stick to reason, you seem to have got it pretty well

tunes good but try and steer clear of using too many presets from reason that have been rinsed on loads of other tracks. like the little effects and redrum sounds

Great, but I've heard the wobble rinsed out so many times, it ceases to sound good.

Unless its a brand new copy of fruity loops, no it doesn't have a great sound engine... only until recently it was able to produce 24bit audio :?

I like the cheesiness of the accordion, and the whole playful vibe of it. Would work a bit on the accordion sound to make it a little bit dirtier or more lively, imperfect.
