any reason why my massive keeps shutting off?
yeah so every time i use massive. It shuts off. what ti mean is like if i go to make a new sound file or even drag the lfo to filter it just shuts off. i use fruity btw. and this never used to happen to me. anyone know whats up?
I was having the same troubles, but after a bit of searching, I found a solution. There's a file called NIMassiveDataBase inside the following directory. I removed this file from the directory (just to be safe in case I lost any custom presets/whatnot) and started up FL and loaded Massive with no problems. NIMassiveDataBase can actually just be deleted without any effect on presets or Massive itself.
C:\Documents and Settings\*****\Local Settings\Application Data\Native Instruments\Massive
Hope this solves your problem!

Sytrus synth built into FL Studio is absolutely sick... I'd get to work learning that, because the sounds it's capable of chucking out are phenomenal!!!it is a dope ass vst and shit, any other vsts like massive?

Google Sytrus Synth tutorials if you need help learning how it works, and read the ****ing help file..! (So many people don't, and it actually helps!!

Z3ta+ by Cakewalk is capable of doing sick things... and it has a killer set of filters in my opinion...

Albino 3 is good along with the rest of Rob Papens synths..

Check out this list of links compiled by sapphic_beats to find plenty of free synths.
Ps. I was pleasantly surprised when I checked out that list. I stumbled across a new synth which I now really enjoy using (Sinthecyza)... Get hunting!sapphic_beats wrote:seriously, you should really look into some of the free vsts available on the world wide webz. if you do a little net searching, you can find a TON of really good FREE vsts that will do ya just right.
