Osiris is going to contribute to this new wave of true sounds an' music.
I live in IJmuiden, Netherlands which is close to Amsterdam. I've been into electronic (breakbeat) music from the time i lived in the suburbs in amsy at the age of 8/9, there i was influenced by ragga, bubbling, reggea, dub, breakbeat, jungle etc. I'm 23 years old now, i've started playing drum'n bass (ow theres another one!) from 2000, and still do but indeed; once touched by this 'new sound', it's too late to turn back.
I came in contact with grime and dubstep through a friend (Dj Grimeselecter) i met when i moved to IJmuiden (very industrial place, steel made by corus, the dfds seaway fairies that go to newcastle, and a town full of VERY ignorant people nm that...) He's switched from garage to 'our sound' and we started hosting a weekly radioshow here, which plays for 60,000+ people locally on cable and ether and a live stream through internet and this for 1,5 years now. We did a few try-out raves with more grime than dubstep, the last one was a combo with a dnb rave, but with our own chamber of doom which totally merked it; people who came for dnb, were spacin it all night at our place, we were of course very happy about it, and are making 'bigger' plans at this moment.
I found in myself a true dubsteppa or wotever u want to call it, i'm totally in love again, peepz like vex'd, plasticman and labels like tempa contributed to this (there are loads more people but these names popped up first) it's the feeling of the start of something new (like dnb over 10 years ago) that attracts me, i can't help myself going madddddd when i play the dubz so yes, i'm gonna contribute, and i've got great apetite for info, dubz & music of course.
The nu souldja on the block,
Osiris.
