It was the release of Ital Tek's Deep Pools on Square Records that caught the attention of Season Five, with all three tunes expressing sounds which are not to be found elsewhere in dubstep. This talented producer blends the deepest of atmospheric sounds with crisp percussion, which is carried effortlessly by his trademark haunting basslines. His debut album, Cyclical (Planet-Mu) promises all of these qualities and much more. Those of you who listen to Mary Anne Hobbs show on Radio 1 will have heard some of this album already, and will know that this event is not to be missed, as Ital Tek is soon to become one of the biggest names in dubstep.

Supporting the mighty Ital Tek is a man who knew about dubstep before you were born. Season Five is proud to welcome the Reduction Records Chairman, Thinking, to play a set of whatever the fuck he wants. Having played a big set at Dubplate a few weeks ago, we knew the time was right for this “Knife of the Realm” to grace Season Five with his plethora of tunes.

Every day Hyetal seems to be adding more tunes to his repertoire. Carving out a distinctive sound in his production, it is only a matter of time before his talents will be available on wax.

Hailing from Brighton, some of you will know Liam C from Season Five’s first night back in December, as well as the award winning internet radio station www.brapfm.com, where he hosts the acclaimed show Immersed Sounds. Liam C will be bringing the finest selection of drum and bass, ranging from tech-step to the deeper soulful sides of the genre.
