Yea I know a handful of galdem down here that are feeling it, and there were plenty of women at the last Subloaded IIRC.

this is actually very true. go to any night that fabio's spinning his liquid dnb stuff, and it's ram packed with ladies.

here in lublin mostly girls are dancing when i play dubstep

u know girls are a little but technologically retarded - they just don't know how to use forum

There always seems to be a respectable amount of ladies at the events in Bristol. And they seem to be having a thoroughly good time! Give 'em some credit!
I guess they're not so inclined to hang out at forums though. Who can blame them? They've prob got more important things to do like, er..., washing their hair or summit.
My missus thinks it's all rubbish. But then she's not into underground dance music in general.

i know some girls who listen to our shit at home - but they are in underground dance stuff for years so it is natural progression

girls like to dance. guys like standing around looking serious. dubstep / grime nights are often more about standing around looking serious than dancing. the first two subloadeds were great cos they were rowdy, people were moving.
i think girls tend to get bored with cold music. alot of dubstep is quite cold. semi tone up, semi tone basslines, etc.
girls tend to react well to our more noisy shit tho.

My lady has been rinsing out dubstep good and proper for the last couple of years whenever she plays out. But I'm with Gutter on this one - the day she signs up and hangs about on forums, I'll eat my record box.

The only records my gf ever buys are dub reggae so I can pitch dubstep to her along those lines, but she likes some of the noisey stuff too, after i played Lion VIP out a while back she got well into it.
