UKHC?

Post by xal54x » Thu Apr 24, 2008 2:44 pm

As I myself come from a hardcore backround, as well as most of my dubstep loving mates, thought there's bound to be a few more lurking on here...

In which case, I'm gonna shamelessly plug my band! haha

INSURGENT!

We put a split out with Essex label Three Swords Records at the start of the year, and should be touring in support of it this summer!

Hit me up if you're digging it, or any other hardcore for that matter!

Cheers.

UK Hardcore used to be sickkkkkkkkk

November Coming Fire were the ONE.
Johnny Truant.

I forget loads of names.. I used to promote hardcore round London ends for a bit, like 02-04, anyone kinda big on the underground during them times I probably help promote them!

Liking the stuff you're doing vocals took a while to like but top stuff!

I agree..

Its really hit a down fall now! Its just lost its edge for me I mean, I'd go to a show and see 6 bands, 5 of them will be good..

You go now and 1 band is alright and the rest are like.. "Been there, heard that, next please"

Its a bit arrogant to think that but its the truth!

unfortunately its been this way for a couple of years and doesnt look like changing. its quite narrow as a genre so its quite hard to see better records coming out than the ones that exist simply because the motivations arent there. even with the purple patch a few years ago not much of it beats the stuff it pays homage to from the 80's

I think that's more your problem than the bands, if you're looking for something new and fresh, hardcore's the wrong place haha hardcore's about more than the music.
