quite nice to listen in retrospective of whats going on now.

u can straight away tell from certain interviews the early enthusiasm to push the grime/vocal side to sorta establish and spread the sound...

kinda goes hand in hand with the greater attention and focus grime was getting at the time, but it was kind of a saving grace maybe? the divergence and seperation of the "vocal side" allowed the "instrumental side" of the "new step" to grow in its own. if they were integrated more and kept tied who knows what could of happened; IMO it would of been a bad situation, the bad/good would of came for both, if it went for the worst would of ended up where UKG did, no point makin same mistake twice.

im happy with the way things went, because im happy with things just the way they are now, and the way dubstep came from the dark garage/dub sound to mushroom into the multi-influenced ranging sound it is today.
