hehe, the only reason i thought to do it was cos i kept hearing the riff on the adverts for the movie, and it got stuck in my head really badly.
let me know what you think

i've also just noticed one very minor problem with the tune so im gonna have to have a little look at it tomorrow

similar to what i did
when i was doing it i had a hard time making the guitar riff sound justified under the dub.
check out what i did a week ago.......just aded a random drum beat over it, haven't created a proper one yet
just a snippet, there is a lot more in it than what i post below. might post full version later.

about a minute and a half into your track i like it, the guitar is just REALLY hard to listen to with wobble on it. might just be the black sabbath fan in me trying for purity.
the key that iron man was written in is also VERY weird for dubstep. key change might help. hence why i changed the key.
the mixdown also needs some tweaking, wasn't getting much bass at all from the kick drum, got more from the synth than anything.

yeah i know what you mean about the key change thing, what i did was just slow the sample down in audacity without changing pitch so it matched the tempo, then sliced it up in ReCycle.
I didnt really want to lose the essence of the guitar though, which i knew changing the the pitch would do drastically.
the wobble was there to fill in the lower mids/bass range underneath the electric guitar, perhaps it needs rolling off at a slightly lower frequency though?
anyone else's feelings on this?

The track sounds pretty sick man, I must say

really does it justice... and I know this is a bit off-topic, but I love your Spaghetti track too, it's fucking sick mate

thanks a lot mate, really means a lot to hear it!
im actually slightly reworking spaghetti in the next couple of weeks cos there are some issues i really want to address, a lot of the track feels to dry to me and i want to liven it up a bit.
thanks for all the feedback and criticisms fellas!

is this coming from a proper setup with a nice sub?
for some reason its coming through really hard and clean for me, more than anything its overriding the sub, but these are things i really need feedback for cos my speaker set up, although fairly loud is pretty imbalanced.

Bass is very quiet on my setup...can't hear it, but can hear it has potential.
Any chance of upping the bass on the version on myspace?
