Beautiful Music

Post by wensley » Tue May 20, 2008 4:23 pm

Yo,

Been listening to a load of different music over the last week and a few tunes have really got me in terms of beauty. A few Bjork tracks (all is full of love !), most tracks off Burials 'Untrue' and the soundtrack to the Mission by Ennio Moriccone are just a few examples but i'm looking for some other recommendations as its time to spend some wages! May sound gay but fuck it, i want hairs standing on end! Any suggestions, open to anything....

Wens :D

If you like ennio morricone

This track really enhances the strength of the scene it accompanies in the film.. (Once Upon a Time in the West)

Again, seriously, the vocals in On The Tracks - Mark Kilian (Tsotsi OST) are moving.

Didn't think so much of the film until that track kicked in, then it changed my perspective!

Yeah man, I love Ennio. His film music is top. This score is quality, didn't really fancy the film much but the music is great and i had totally forgotten about it. Will try and hunt this soundtrack down. Nice one :Q:

If its beautiful music you're looking for, you might well check track 11 on an album called 'Treny' by Jacaszek, anything on the Moteer record label or Stars Of The Lid's latest LP 'And The Refinement Of Their Decline'. Fourtet's remix of 'Heim' by Pole is quite beautiful as well.
