The Diablo thread ignited this one. What
RPGs do you Guy's play? Fav's etc.
Mine are Suikoden on playstation, both of them.
Chrono trigger, Final fantasys (7 Most), Baldurs gate, Icewind dale, Diablo,
Neverwinter Nights.

YOU HAVE TASTE!
Both 1 and 2 are my favourite RPGs
Diablo 2, Baulders, Icewind.. That whole bird-eyes RPG was my favourite era. not about these new RPGs

Never did play that, might have to 'buy' it.
Btw, I couldn't compress D2music to a decent enough size for my patience

kotor has such a horrible clunky interface, i've never been able to get into it.
which is a shame, because apparently the story & character development is brilliant

I prefer KOTOR 1 to 2.
Story is immense, and different actions provoke different outcomes. The light/dark side is visibly seen on your character, adding a neat touch.

Don't forget Fable, even though it was entirely too short. I had a wife in every single town--and they loved meh...
And for birds eye view, Ultima Online was pretty good for that.
Here's a note to just how geeky I am: For a first date years ago, the fellow came over and we played Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance I. Well, it was during a part where you had to cross a chasm and the rocks would break up and fall underneath. He didn't make it across and then neither did I, and we both fell and were reduced to a bloody splat on the screen.
So he turned to me and said, "Awwww look. Our blood splatters made a heart."
I actually swooned.

I REMEMBER THAT BIT.
Such a good game, although it was way to short, it was all about that onyx sword you got near the end
