Work sucks... know some good web proxies?
Someone is very closely reviewing our proxy logs and blocking my access to all sorts of sites left, right and centre....
Every since they turned on filtering all sorts of useful things have been blocked automatically..
Then Myspace, Meebo and Facebook got cut off a couple weeks back.
And now the final straw... I can't even get to Boomkat today! Shit! What's next? Hopefully not DSF and/or DOA :/ :/
Can anyone recommend some good proxies that are newish or underground enough that they might not be blocked yet? Hehe...
Work = fun police... hardout.

Not really, I don't have an office job or anything, I work in a kitchen, and the only time I sit down is when I have to make like a mason and lay a brick, ya get me??

my work has just threatened to close off all access to myspace/facebook/youtube etc. and block all media files such as .avi/mp3/jpg from emails etc. will not be a happy chappy if it happens.

Mate, was just kidding.. I'd give my left one to get out from behind the computer and do some "real" work rather than pushing 1's and 0's around... when I say real work I of course mean writing some beats.. which I guess these days is pretty much pushing 1's and 0's around a DAW innit. Oh the irony.....HabitualBeatsCamp wrote:Not really, I don't have an office job or anything, I work in a kitchen, and the only time I sit down is when I have to make like a mason and lay a brick, ya get me??qroniq wrote:Sucks to be you then I guess!HabitualBeatsCamp wrote:We have none.![]()
edit - god I'm talking a load of shite today... definitely time for a change of job haha.. got a meeting with my manager in 15 mins to "catch up" - this should be interesting!!

I would much rather be writing beats then cooking food for the public, thats for damn sure. I come up with my best ideas when I am as far away from my computer as possible.qroniq wrote:Mate, was just kidding.. I tried writing out a drum pattern I thought of while at work once, I tried it when I got home and it didn't work like I thought it would... But it led to better things so, can't bitch too much.qroniq wrote:Me too and it is the most damn frustrating thing ever... seems to happen a lot when I'm snowboarding hah.
