Over the past eight years, Dubstep has slowly been eating away everything it’s path and taking place as one of the worlds most innovative genres. Originating from bedroom studios in Croydon and small dark London venues, with influences from UK Garage and a Jamaican sound system culture, and creating an off shoot that soon grew to international acclaim, Grime - Dubstep is a bass heavy sound that has had DJs from all over the world taking a keen interest in the scenes development. Record labels, events and artists have started appearing everywhere, each bringing their own sound to the diverse influences that make up Dubstep.

Enter - Step Into The Unknown - a digital compilation showcasing the best in those same new and talented Dubstep artists.

The compilation goes through a variation of inspirations from dark more jump up drum and bass influenced tracks, to the more reggae sounding beats all the way to influences from the old style blues and up-to-date minimal. The compilation also showcases how a genre which developed from South London with mainly UK based artists has, within a short space of time, reached out to people from all over the world, from just across the shores in France and Europe, all the way to North and South America, Asia and Australia by featuring mostly tracks from foreign producers. Special tracks to take note of include Soi -Ayakon, Killer B vs. The Milkman - Trustfilter, and Veil - Park Mist, culminating with 15 year old producer Deep Thought’s beautiful take on Decipher Manana’s Nothing ventured.

1) Monstr - Boneyard
2) Flextronic - Card R.I.P
3) Soi - Ayakon
4) ReHAB - Quantech
5) Ballistics - Spines
6) Decipher Manana - Nothing Ventured (Deep Thought Mix)
7) Ballistics - Falling
8- Veil - Park Mist
9) Forensics ft Mr Jo - Blues In Heaven
10) Grimejah - Electro
