Yamaha HS 50

Just got those babies! Any opinions on them?
Have used the 50s before and think they would need a sub to get the best out of them. Still nice though.

Ive got a pair of the HS 80s which im very pleased with.

Yeah i was thinking about a sub, because the low range seems a little too subtle!
Do i have to get the Yamaha one or can i put a different one in the system?
What i did is I put a hi-fi subwoofer at low levels, covering only really low freqs. That should do it for the moment, since i'm fucking broke.

Pretty nice actually. My room is alwful though. Found a position in my room that gives me better bass response and I'm quite happy now.
Removed the hi-fi subwoofer since the crossover was pretty high and kind of killed the purpose of monitors. It wasn't very smart using it in the first place
