So i'm going to be in paris for a month (july) taking some classes.

I've never had the oppurtunity to visit for more than a few days,

Including dubstep but also any-school anything, is anyone aware of particular places where one should go as far as live stuff?

I would consider my palate well rounded, anything from kompakt sort of things as well as all of the various artists subgenres etc. (dDamage, modeselektor being easy examples)

not sure if you'll like the music and doubt it'll be any live stuff (but perhaps) but le grand rex is a wicked club in Paris (lots of techno, electro and loads of big acts play there) and triptych is worth a look as well

rex club is wicked, i agree. i went there about 3 years ago on the recommendation of a french friend. happed to be the dappa laurent garnier dj'ing. was a fucking quality night
