Avatars are set to auto resize on this forum. This means that if you post an 80x80 avatar, it will get bumped up to 100x100, which will make it look fuzzy. The same would happen if you posted at 120x120. Resize your avatars to 100 pixel width before you post it to your profile. I recommend using photoshop>save for web. There's loads of info on the net about making avatars. Try google for more help.
