is a midlands events subforum needed?
we're trying to figure out if people think it's needed, so please make your voice heard, either for or against.
we'll need to have a significant vote count to really consider this. right now, as you can see from the map below, our events system is divided north and south from coventry city.
vote away!! cheers!

From stoke down to leamington would make sense. I don't see any reason not to do it...Would be easier to locate birmingham events and keep things localised...if people want to see what is going on elsewhere they can check the north/south events too.
People from Birmingham probably won't be going to events in Manchester/Liverpool/Newcastle especially now that Brum seems to have picked up on dubstep.

interesting. thanks for that perspective.
initially we divided it at coventry purely because we figured that people would be up for a 3-4 hour drive to support a night, so having the uk split 3 ways might make things a bit too sectioned off and harder to digest all the dates and info.
now if coventry, stratford, cambridge and those cities right in the middle blow up with serious activity, we'll have to do something. thats what we're trying to judge.
thanks for the input!:)

yea please, the north is the north the south the south, the midlands is a seperate thing. it will cut confusion and narrow down searches.
Its just easier to have north, south and midlands.
It doesnt stop people looking at the north and south sections if they want to, its just easier to have a midlands subforum, i dont see a downside to it.

yes from me
Seems to be quite a few nights happening in and around the midlands nowadays... The more events happening, means more posts, so keeping it more organised seems a good idea to me...

I think all the forums should be put together so that people can unite and go mad flicking through 10 pages of active threads
