I just think it's a shame that they are doing thier own remix of it, in whatever style they see fit and then just terming it (dubstep remix), which sadly could cause a lot of people to think it's a true representation of the sound

Im not at all surprised however

Those are two of my favourite tracks from Pendulum. Those and Streamline

Thats the style i loved them for. Also.. u cant really beat that halfstep intro for Slam :twisted:

they are the last thing this genre needs right now imo.
but to be fair drum and bass heads have had to put up with them for long enough

guess we could share their pain a little

oh shit now i sound like a pendulum fan

That was alright tbh.

I hate the new pendulum shit as much as the next sane person, but i still wouldn't write them off completely. Their still responsible for, Another Planet, The Vault, Trail of Sevens, Spiral. All big tunes.

One of these days I'm going to like most of the DnB scene again (instead of just a couple of corners of it) just because all the DnB producers that I don't like are going to have switched to doing dubstep instead.

yeah, then when they switch to making classical music, because its cool and in the
charts and our kids will be listening to it, we will be able to listen to dubstep again!

better then i thought it would be, plenty of energy. walks that line between complete cheese and funky/catchy. id play it.
