Developing The North American Dubstep/Grime Circuit

This is, you could say, a roll call.
I'm trying to develop a list of individuals in the U.S. and Canada that are doing grime/dubstep nights and are also interested in eventually partnering up to develop the circuit so that when UK cats are intereste din coming over, we can make the push to spread the virus as much as possible.
I also ask this because I run a booking agency and have had a request by someone whose records you all own, to book some North American dates for him so the sooner we sort this, the better.
So make some noise if you're innit.
I know the Slt Jockey lads are down as would be Dave Q of dubwar fame, Ripple out in SF and myself. That's four.
anyone else?

nice!
i'm in, and seeing as dq and i are in the same city, i'm sure we'll be working together in the future to keep the ball rolling in nyc between dubwar and soulfire.
kuma, i know you run a dnb booking agency, but i hope you'll be easy on us regarding agency fees. it's still early stages here.

depends on what the lad is asking for but hey, we're aiming to make it viable for all working parties

Wicked thread, the links really need to be cemented. I PMed Seckle the other day to say that I'm planning a little trip to the States in the Spring, and ideally would like to coincide with any parties that are going on - I'll be buying my own ticket and coming over with a bag of interesting tunage.
Anyone planning anything in March / April (if you think that far ahead), particularly in NY / SF then let me know, I'd absolutely love to come play.

To make this work cost effectively, we need more southern and mid west cities like Minnesota,Detroit,Chicago, Arizona, Dallas, North Carolina and even Miami. That way travel costs are not painful for the coastal promoters, and transatlantic flight costs can be absorbed throughout the entire group of promoters. If anybody has contacts in Midwest and Southern cities, it would really help us all, to reach out and see if they're interested.

nice thread, would love to be part of the circuit but it's a bit difficult in my town, but like ruzadivlja says, the mashit lads will be into it ... in fact I'm playing with dj flack next week and I'll mention it to him.

yeh, really wish I'd heard about that

Like I said on Riddim, Ottawa's a pretty quiet (albeit large) city so I'm interested but not sure how best to help. The website gets ca. 10 000 visits monthly so it's good for promotion. I'd be happy to open up a private section where promoters across the continent could meet up and coordinate.
As for more tangible stuff, I'm happy to do what I can, especially with/for people working in the Montrea/Ottawa/Toronto/Hamilton corridor.
Keep me informed folks, and remember Riddim.ca was started so that we could used it to build a scene...
